Custom Sort

Patients in a MAR Custom report can be sorted by location and/or patient attributes. Each patient's MAR can be further sorted by prescription attributes.

• Location - sorts patients by area, cycle, floor, room, wing, or bed. The location is set in the Group Folder Patient tab.

• Patient - sorts patients according to their name, PHN, gender, or date of birth. If a Location is specified in the Sort window, the patients within each location are sorted by the patient attribute chosen.

• Prescription - sorts prescriptions for each patient by form, name, Rx#, or strength.

• Ascending - sorts the Location, Patient, or Prescription in ascending alphabetical or numerical order.

• Insert- Adds an additional level for sorting above the current selection. When multiple levels are entered, patients or prescriptions are sorted by the first level and then by each consecutive level.

• Add - Adds an additional level for sorting below the current selection.

• Remove - Removes a row. If you do not want to sort by Location, Patient, or Prescription, select Remove until there is only one blank row in the section.
